A litter from 8 Puppies, more the mother, eats an average of 1.5 kg of meat per day plus about 100g per day of dry food. The milk powder supplemented with goat milk is consumed during the last week of pregnancy, during lactation and early 15 days from weaning puppies, is then replaced by supplements of calcium or bone chopped. For the hygiene you consume daily: profumato detergent, cleaning the dishes, absorbent paper towels and sleepers, wipes and even weekly bleach. An ecological pesticide spray is used on each puppy to a month, and a spot-on pesticide in 2 the months of age. The daily consumption of litter increases with the age of the pups.
Per N.C. means that the cost depends on the number of pups. This calculation does not include any travel expenses and rights to assemble (a breeder who offers her male mating calls for an amount equal to the price of a puppy), material that may be deemed necessary to replace (Gabbie parto,vacuum cleaner, enclosure…), unforeseen veterinary costs (difficulty in giving birth or sudden illness) and of course the costs of maintenance of the parents for all the other months of the year. I breed for the fun of it, my aim is not to earn. My furette are part of the family, even after sterilization will remain with me, I own a number of ferrets limited so as to make them live better and when I will no longer intact females will stop raising.
